Sr Manager, Project Management

And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Position Summary** The Senior Manager, Capital Planning and Vendor Oversight will provide disciplined leadership in capital planning and vendor oversight, supporting the organization’s growth and operational objectives. The Sr. Manager will ensure capital investments are strategically aligned, efficiently allocated, and deliver measurable value to CVS Health. The Sr. Manager’s role includes overseeing the full capital planning cycle budgeting, prioritization, and execution to support enterprise objectives. In vendor oversight, the Sr. Manager will ensure vendors meet performance, quality, and compliance standards. The Sr. Manager will develop and execute vendor management strategies and resolve issues to maximize value and mitigate risk. This position requires sound judgment, precise communication, and the capacity to manage complex initiatives with rigor and clarity. **Responsibilities** + Direct capital planning and budget forecasting, ensuring alignment with divisional and organizational priorities for the division. + Manage Portfolio Management Team (PMT) processes, reporting, and funding allocation. + Evaluate business cases alongside Value Pool Owners, organize core team meetings, and ensure adherence to established standards. + Ensure adherence to PMT standards, documentation, and implement process improvements. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, IT, Account Management, etc.) to optimize outcomes both capital planning and vendor oversight. + Regularly Identify current approved versus active/inactive vendors for client. + Build and maintain quarterly communication plan with client regarding vendor status(es). + Analyze vendor data to inform oversight and drive improvement. + Monitor vendor performance against established metrics; prepare internal/external attestations and reports to highlight quality and compliance. + Identify and address risks related to vendor operations, ensuring standards are met. + Advance process improvements in vendor management, maintaining thorough and accurate documentation up to and including the development and implementation of automated reporting, dashboards, and deliverables to executive leadership. + Present project status updates and performance dashboards to key stakeholders. + Additional stretch duties as identified, needed, and assigned. **Required Qualifications:** Minimum of 5 years of experience with forecasting and managing budgets. 3 years of experience with finance, data analysis and presentation. Experience preparing executive-level deliverables. **Preferred Qualifications** + Background in vendor management, project management, or contract administration. + Demonstrated analytical ability to interpret complex data and support decision-making. + Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and reporting tools. + Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and management of multifaceted projects. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. + Financial acumen, including return-on-investment analysis and budget forecasting. + Experience implementing process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency. + Ability to assess and mitigate risks in both vendor oversight and capital planning. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
