About the Role We’re looking for a passionate Interaction Designer to join our Customer Experience Innovation (CXI) team. In this role, you’ll design intuitive, engaging, and accessible digital experiences that help our customers achieve their goals seamlessly. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to translate user insights into elegant, scalable design solutions. Responsibilities Lead interaction design efforts across key projects within the CXI team. Define user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction patterns to support intuitive product experiences. Collaborate with UX researchers to incorporate user feedback and data into design decisions. Partner with visual designers, content strategists, and developers to ensure designs are both beautiful and technically feasible. Advocate for accessible and inclusive design practices. Contribute to and help evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across products and touchpoints. Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders at all levels. Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in interaction design, usability, and emerging technologies. Expected Success Outcomes Improved Customer Experience: Measurable increases in task completion rates, satisfaction scores, or reduced customer effort through well-crafted interaction design. Consistent Design Language: Contribution to a unified design system that scales across CXI initiatives, ensuring consistency and brand alignment. Effective Collaboration: Strong partnerships with product, engineering, and research resulting in efficient delivery of design solutions on time and with high quality. Data-Driven Impact: Demonstrated use of user research and analytics to inform design decisions, with evidence of measurable improvements in product adoption or engagement. Innovation Leadership: Delivery of creative interaction patterns and prototypes that inspire stakeholders and push forward the customer experience vision. Advocacy for Accessibility: Designs consistently meet accessibility standards (WCAG), ensuring inclusive experiences for all users. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as an interaction designer, product designer, or similar role. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction patterns. Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision). Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions clearly. Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices. Nice to Have Experience with design systems at scale. Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers. Background in motion design or micro interactions.
