Join a team of commercial finance professionals to support finance decisions with one of Resideo businesses. As a Sr. Financial Analyst you will partner with the Tijuana factory team on productivity projects, the financial budget & forecasts, monthly actual financial results, volume & cost analysis, capital expense and other relevant tasks, supporting the ISC Finance Manager. You will support Resideo business leaders and support to drive finance initiatives and decisions. You will also play important part to identify trends and developments in competitive environments and support the management outcome decisions.
JOB DUTIES:
Reviewing actual cost results for accuracy and completeness, which includes cost center level detail, accruals, as needed, and variance reporting to forecast and budget.
Prepare site reporting for Production Order Variance, Earned Hours & Absorption.
Understand cost trends and the drivers of Manufacturing Variance results.
Act as business partner, using financial analysis techniques, to connect business conversations to financial results and recommending approaches that help achieve the annual budget.
Partner with site team on Asset Creation/Retirement, Capital Projects, Asset Verification, etc.
Connect productivity projects actions to identifiable cost savings with consistent methodology.
Identify performance issues within the business and risks & opportunities to budget/forecast.
Participate and provide information required for the Tier meeting (with site leadership).
Assist with constructing the annual budget and monthly forecasts for the Tijuana factory.
YOU MUST HAVE:
5+ years of Finance/FP&A experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment including forecasting, operating plans, and P&L analysis
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to link financial results to underlying business drivers and identify trends and patterns
Strong systems and tools proficiency, including SAP and ERP environments, Hyperion and/or Oracle preferred, with advanced Excel skills to build and automate reports.
Fluent English proficiency (written and verbal) for interaction with regional and global stakeholders.
Solid knowledge of Mexican and U.S. accounting principles.
