**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Sr Facilities Manager, you will manage many functions of building operations and maintenance for a 450,000-square-foot campus of office buildings, as well as provide remote supervision of a portfolio of properties throughout Florida. The primary work site is situated in Lake Mary, FL, serving as the central hub, where you will engage on a daily basis with senior executives.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Oversee all facilities related services, excluding mailroom and security functions of the primary HUB facility for the client.
+ Provide remote oversight of six smaller banking facilities throughout Florida
+ Occasionally travel to remote banking centers, up to once per quarter as needed
+ Develop, monitor, and manage budgets and forecasts
+ Create, review, and manage purchase orders (POs)
+ Provide formal supervision of two direct reports, including the Assistant Facilities Manager and Chief Building Engineer.
+ Hold regular check-ins with team members to review status updates
+ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Ensure work order key performance indicators are consistently achieved
+ Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
+ Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance activities.
+ Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
+ Support, coordinate, and assist with high-end client events
+ Liaise with landlords to address and resolve building-related issues
+ Engage daily with high-level clients to provide updates and support
+ Prepare and manage large and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
+ Perform monthly facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest and implement operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
+ Create environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
+ Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing procedures. Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
+ Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
+ Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
+ Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
+ Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
+ Proven experience in budget management and overseeing capital improvement projects
+ Comprehensive background in facilities management, encompassing all aspects of services
+ Familiarity with facility systems and the ability to discuss Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) matters to effectively communicate with vendors and clients regarding updates and service requests
+ Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
+ Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
