Our client, a leader in industrial services, is seeking a Sr Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Sr Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting technical operations and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Sr Engineering Technician
**Location:** Torrance, CA
**Pay Range:** $38 - $40/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed to enhance efficiency and establish standard production rates for maintenance, production, clerical, and other operational tasks.
+ Apply your technical expertise to perform complex tasks related to pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing, hydraulic testing, and valve testing.
+ Utilize your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
+ Lead and direct the work of team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
+ Report to managers or department heads, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent, with 4-6 years of relevant experience in the field.
+ Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures related to pneumatic, hydrostatic, and hydraulic testing.
+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to rely on experience and judgment to accomplish objectives.
+ Ability to perform a variety of complex tasks with creativity and independence.
+ US citizenship is required for this role.
