Sr Driver Operations Manager

**About the Role**
We are hiring a Driver Operations Manager who will support growing our taxi and rideshare supply bases and improving their engagement with Uber’s products. The role will lead external partnership management programs to accelerate the business growth. It will include partner account management, operational improvements, and new partnership developments.
The ideal candidate will have good business acumen, operational experience, and account management skills to deepen relationship with external partners and grow their business closely working with various stakeholders. Given the nature of the work, you will also possess strong communication skills to facilitate cross-functional and cross-cultural communication. You are curious about new problems that emerge with our evolving business and willing to tackle them by rolling up your sleeves.
**The Impact You'll Have**
- Partnership management - You will manage partners management form various aspects from operation, tech development, and customer support
- New service development - You will take a lead to develop a new Uber service by closely working with fleet partners in addition to Uber internal product and engineering teams
- Operational improvement - You will also support improvement activities for the daily operational tasks such as payment and device management
**The Experience You'll Bring**
- Minimum 8 years of experience in managing external partners and/or customers in a fast-moving environment.
- Clear communication that enables you to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments, including product and engineering teams.
- Operational excellence to driver our partners' operational transformation
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Sound analytical skills that enable you to develop deep insights and recommend data-driven solutions and decisions.
- Creative, solutions driven mindset - You have a “get things done” attitude and willingness to get “in the trenches” to work with our stakeholders to develop creative solutions to challenges that haven’t been addressed before.
