We are looking for a Senior Director of People Operations that is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for Human Resources Operations, HRIS, Compliance and the Employee Relations function and this role is crucial to ensuring our end-to-end processes are efficient, effective, ensuring compliance and end-user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader with a proven track record of building scalable systems, driving operational excellence, and managing employee relations to foster a culture of high performance and provide interconnectivity between COE’s.
**Overall Responsibilities:**
The Senior Director of People Operations is a senior leadership level role within HCM
Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), this role ensures that HR programs and services support organizational goals, regulatory compliance, and positive employee experiences. This role requires a strong balance of operational rigor and people-first thinking to design and evolve systems and programs that scale with the firm.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives, using technology and standard processes to enhance service quality, automation, and cost effectiveness
· Oversee the employee relations function, providing guidance and resolving workplace conflicts effectively via the HR Consultant Solutions team
· Serve as trusted advisor, charged with leading employee relations activities, including corrective counseling, workplace investigations and other related duties as assigned
· Enhance organizational performance and employee experience through efficient, scalable HR processes
· Partner closely throughout the HR organization, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Information Technology, and other various business leaders to support the organization's long-term growth
· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that promote fairness, equity, and a positive work environment
· Partner with senior leadership to understand business needs and provide strategic HR guidance
· Oversee internal and external HR audits, internal investigations, and regulatory reporting; serve as liaison with internal and external legal counsel
· Implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controls for HR processes and ensure compliant records retention
· Drive data-informed decisions to improve people outcomes, operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness
· Balances the business needs, employee experience and risk mitigation when evaluating solutions
· Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
· 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience in service delivery or shared services operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing HR functions
· Broad HR experience, including HRBP roles, to ensure alignment and development
· Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies in a fast-paced environment
· Deep understanding of all functional areas of HR, including employment law, recruiting, compensation, HRIS, and talent management
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
· Experience with HRIS systems and HR technology platforms
· Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
· Demonstrated success in managing remote HR teams and fostering a positive remote work culture
· Ability to manage change effectively
· High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment
**Education and Training:**
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required, master’s degree preferred.
· License, Certification & Registration:
· Professional certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or CEBS) preferred.

**Compensation:**
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
**As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: Annual Base Salary of $175,000 to - $230,000 . In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.**
