The role exercises a high degree of independent judgement, providing leadership for business consulting, information architecture activities and deliverables for a team delivering projects in support of the Treasury business. Sr. Director, Treasury Technology, develops and sustains internal relationships across the organization in and outside of technology, including negotiating and influencing opinion. In addition, this role provides sophisticated analysis of complex business information and makes comprehensive recommendations to management including executives and business leaders. Reporting to the VP, CM Risk, Treasury and Enterprise Solutions, this role drives innovation across areas of responsibility, applying expert interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How you’ll succeed** + **Capital Markets Solutions** – Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements in all areas of Treasury. + **Relationship Management** –Ability to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with clients, vendors, and peers. + **Strong Leadership -** Provide strategic insight, leading the team through modernization into newer technologies, foster out of the box thinking to drive cost-effective and business enabling solutions. Be a bold and authentic leader who is passionate about management and coaching to bring out the best in people. **Who you are** + **You can demonstrate experience in:** at least 6-10 years of people leadership experience, coupled with a background working within Business Analysis and working with SQL, Python PowerBI and MS Excel. May lead a team which could consist of senior managers or business analysts ranging from 20-30 staff who are accountable for the delivery of business and system requirements. As a key contributor to the business unit, this job has the authority to recommend changes to business processes in order to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Ideally you have experience implementing technology solutions in banking treasury including a knowledge of Funds Transfer Pricing, Risk Management, Liquidity Management, Asset and Liability Management and Capital Management. An Asset if you have experience with Python, .NET C#, or the Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) application. + **You embrace and champion change.** You'll continuously evolve your thinking and the way you work in order to deliver your best.
