Roles and Responsibilities
Lead global customs audit programs, publish results, and ensure corrective actions are properly managedDevelop analytics based monitoring of Customs transactionsOversee the Customs & Transportation Risk Assessment and the Customs Compliance Tracker to ensure timely resolution to gaps/issues identifiedExecute strategy for 3rd party and internal post entry and monitoring processesEnsure all post entry filings (PSC, Protest, Reconciliation) are filed accurately and on-timeSupport global teams with control development and audit strategyEvaluate existing internal controls and lead implementation of improvement plansProvide Improper Payment and Customs Agent oversight to business unitsDevelop and Lead the Customs Broker due diligence processLead the agent invoice review processRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years customs experience) + minimum of 5 years customs experienceDesired Characteristics
Knowledge and understanding of dynamic US Customs regulations (Sec 232, Foreign Trade Zones, IEEPA, Duty Drawback) and global customs regulationsProficient in Microsoft applications and other analytics tools (Alteryx, Spotfire, Tableau)Strong Oral and written communication skillsSkilled in supplier managementDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsThe salary range for this position is $102,700 - 137,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
