Sr Business Applications Analyst
**Job Description** Join a team where technology meets strategy. As a Sr. Business Applications Analyst, you will play a crucial role in delivering technical data support and innovative solutions for Actuarial financial data systems and Marts. You’ll Identify business requirements and solutions related to the support of the specific business area/function. Perform appropriate analysis and logic implementation to ensure the quality and accuracy of data/applications delivered. **What You’ll Do** + Serve as the lead for multiple applicationareas;including data definitions, usage and file structure, technical structure of the code and the business rules, and structure of requirements thatgovernsthe functionality of theactuarialsystems. + Establishes interdepartmental relationships to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data. + Take the lead as project manager for the development or enhancement of decision support applications, analyzing,reportingand interpreting data. + Leads indevelopingdataapplications, extracts, reports, or analysis by providing input to the business requirements and functional specifications, reviewing technicalspecs (to make sure all business requirements are met),participatingin the user acceptance testing process, and attend all meetingsrequiredto support the project effort. + Plan and serve as a key liaison with business areas during development and implementation. + Develop decision supportsolutions;including medical and pharmacy claim financial data builds, data extracts, reports, data mart tables,viewsand analysis. + Performs monthly data refreshes,validationsand quality assurance checks to support executive financialreporting’s. + Provide analytical support for departmental,divisionaland corporate projects as needed toaccomplishtheir business goals and to ensure the business needs are met. + Ensures Financial granular detail data is appropriately auditable,snapshottedand stored for quarterly and year end audits. + Keeps abreast of changes in the company and with our external vendor data that affect the departmental processes & systems,make recommendations of actions neededand implement changes to the applicable Actuarial Systems data marts and processes where needed. + Provide technical leadership and applicationexpertiseto business project teams andnon-projectrelated activitiesfor the full understanding and execution of all types of assignments. + Provide detailed configurationexpertiseto customers and business partners. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.
