**Job Description:** Overall Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in Java and Perl to contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support. This role demands a well-rounded developer proficient in both backend and frontend technologies, with a strong focus on automation, quality, and collaborative teamwork in an Agile environment. Key Roles and Responsibilities: + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and QA to gather and review software requirements and user stories. + Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and high-performance software applications. + Develop backend services primarily using Java and Perl, ensuring clean, reusable, and efficient code. + Build and enhance frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular. + Create and execute automated test plans and strategies (unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing). + Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including configuration and environment-related problems. + Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines. + Optimize application performance, monitor production environments, and support incident resolution. + Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices; proactively propose improvements. + Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance standards, and coding best practices. Primary / Mandatory Skills: + Strong hands-on experience in **_Java_** and **_Perl_** development. + Solid experience working in Agile software development environments. + Proficient in frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Node.js. + Experience with RESTful API development and integration. + Skilled in database technologies including Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. + Familiarity with scripting languages like Unix Shell Scripting and PL/SQL. + Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure. + Proficient in software development lifecycle (SDLC) phases: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. + Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. + Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code and applications. Additional Desired Skills: + Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, e.g., Jenkins, Git, and automated testing frameworks. + Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven design. + Understanding of application security best practices and tools. + Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools. Overall Experience: + 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in full stack development with a focus on Java and Perl. Education: + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
