Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Sr Android Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Android Engineer, you will be part of the Mobile Engineering and Development department supporting various internal business customers. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Sr Android Engineer
**Location:** Charlotte, NC
**What's the Job?**
+ Design, build, deploy, and maintain next-generation mobile applications.
+ Employ test-driven development (TDD) to ensure exceptional code quality.
+ Collaborate with the design team to implement new application features.
+ Identify and resolve application bottlenecks for optimal performance.
+ Maintain core code and update applications published on the App Store.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or a master's in software engineering.
+ 5+ years of experience in Android Development using Kotlin and/or Java.
+ Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium.
+ Proficient in code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket.
+ Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, and Camera APIs.
