Position Purpose:
The Senior Analyst, Pro Merchandising is responsible for executing the Pro Merchandising objectives for an assigned category, including serving as primary support for setting up and maintaining assortments within the Pro Flatbed Distribution Centers and Direct Fulfillment Centers, providing excellent customer service to the outside salesforce and vendors, and providing analytical support to assist the Pro Merchandising team achieve sales and profit plans. The Senior Analyst, Pro Merchandising engages directly with suppliers, recommends strategy changes, and takes ownership of smaller initiatives within their assigned category. In addition to executing on category initiatives, the Senior Analyst, Pro Merchandising engages in key Pro strategies including product knowledge training and supply chain initiatives.
