This is an Internal Assignment/Project Hire role.
Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted partner to HR leaders and analytics partners to identify unique Studio workforce data needsTranslate needs into data fields and automated workflows that are meaningful to business while also meeting reliable, secure and high-quality standardsDevelop innovative, high-impact solutions like customized apps and agents that enable more holistic storytelling on the employee experienceDocument technical solutions, share best practices, and provide training to foster adoption and scale innovation across the organizationChampion data governance, privacy, and security as you deliver solutions that support Disney’s commitment to trust and excellenceContinuously research and evaluate emerging technologies, bringing forward new ideas to improve HR services through collaboration with partners and analytics teams across the businessBasic Qualifications
5+ years experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, solutions engineering, data management, or related fieldExpertise in SQL, Snowflake (or other cloud data warehouses), and scripting languages such as PythonExperience developing user apps, agents, automation tools and other innovative dashboards or reporting toolsAbility to take high-level partner feedback and implement into detailed data logic or process improvementsAbility to manage projects, work autonomously and make independent decisions to meet deliverables with agility to adapt to fluid project timelines and business needsStrong attention to detail and commitment to effectively handle and maintain confidential informationPassion for continuous improvement with a strong desire to continue learning in order to stay relevant to business changes and industry trendsDesire to work in a collaborative environment, proactively seeking opportunities to connect people and informationExperience with HR data, systems, processes and survey dataRequired Education
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics/Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data or related field or 5+ years equivalent work experienceThe hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $115,300 to $140,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job Posting Segment:
