Our client, a leader in Aerospace & Defense, is seeking a Sr Advanced Engines Project Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Advanced Engines Project Engineer, you will be part of the Engines & Power Systems (E&PS) Department supporting the Military Fixed Wing Team (MFW). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership ability, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Sr Advanced Engines Project Engineer**
**Location:** Phoenix, AZ
**Pay Range:** $64/hr
**What’s the Job?**
+ Lead RMSS (Reliability, Maintainability, and System Safety) workstream as Cost Account Manager (CAM) for new military turbofan program.
+ Manage cost, budget, schedule, risk, and execution of engineering deliverables.
+ Ensure compliance with System Development Plan, ARP4754, and ARP4761 standards.
+ Organize RMSS team activities under Agile planning principles.
+ Communicate status and risks effectively, escalating when needed.
**What’s Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Systems, Aerospace, or Mechanical preferred).
+ Minimum 5 years of related engineering experience in gas turbine engines.
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to export control laws).
+ Knowledge/experience with EVMS, cost account management, and schedule management.
+ Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
