**Requisition Job Description**
**Position Summary**
**The Senior Manager, Specialty Self-Service Portfolio** oversees roadmap definition and management for Specialty digital products that empower patient self-service (incl. CHAT, IVR and others). This role is responsible for strategic intake of Digital, Data, Analytics and Technology (DDAT) work and the facilitation of cross functional collaboration. They will be responsible for defining and managing multi-team product roadmaps, feature delivery, and overall success of their portfolio enabling a best-in-class E2E experience. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to DDAT product management standards, by the various product teams they oversee.
**Responsibilities**
**Product Vision, Strategy, and Road mapping (25%)**
+ Partner with Business General Managers and Product owners to define Epic or initiative vision through a deep understanding of customer needs and complexity.
+ Facilitate the effective communication of the product vision to team members and ongoing planning to finalize roadmap commitments.
+ Ensure alignment of E2E experiences across products and channels while also evaluating consistency of the experiences across different channels
+ Support product owners in developing feature-level roadmaps for their teams’ components that support the broader Epic’s or initiative's roadmap.
**Team Backlog Ownership, User Story Development, and Prioritization (25%)**
+ Creation and ownership of feature roadmaps detailing user-accessible release dates across sprints, months, quarters and even years.
+ Partner with teams to coordinate multiple backlogs for products and/or experiences.
+ Ensure timely estimation of effort and release commitments are accounted for in the roadmap.
+ This individual will often support multiple individual Product Owners with refining specific components and subsystems.
**Trend Monitoring and Product Performance (10%)**
+ Partner with General manager to ensure initiative goals and outcomes communicated to teams, as well as accounted for in tracking metrics.
+ Ensure creation of epic-level or initiative-level measurement plans including success metrics, thresholds, and release plans.
+ Ensure alignment with key stakeholders prior to deliver, report on critical updates, and contribute to product-level analyses as necessary.
+ Ensure tracking of performance data to identify issues quickly and develop new insights and hypothesis about product health.
+ Ensure executive insight for OKR metrics, Experiences that Matter the Most (ETMMS; user satisfaction and task accomplishment rates) and Brilliant Basics
+ Understands product health to inform roadmap and stakeholder updates.
**Product Value, Cross-Functional Teaming, and Stakeholder Management (30%)**
+ Owns DDAT roadmap communication across multiple stakeholders, including senior executives.
+ As a part of the cross-functional team, collaborates closely with engineering, design, architecture, operations, and other team members using agile practices.
+ Partner with General managers to communicate progress, insights, and risks across the portfolio, specifically with key stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with general managers and business partners to deeply understand their business strategies and outcomes their teams are driving to ensure business perspective is reflected and communicated to product teams.
+ Identifies and communicate product dependencies and engages additional experts as needed to help identify solutions.
**Grow and Develop the Team (10%)**
+ Sets a positive culture by growing, coaching, and setting expectations on ways of working for team members. This is done through providing actionable feedback, modeling leading practices, time investment in junior team members, and continued collaboration.
+ Enforces product management standards in direct reports, and partner teams.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 7+ years technology product management experience.
+ 7+ years of experience defining and managing product roadmaps, including familiarity with KANBAN and SCRUM methodologies.
+ 5+ years’ experience performing user engagement, product launches and user onboarding.
+ 5+ years of experience managing a portfolio of multiple products.
+ 5+ years of experience leading agile product teams.
+ 3+ years of experience preparing and presenting executive-friendly content.
+ Must be able to work east coast hours.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience managing customer digital products (e.g., web, mobile app, consumer software etc.).
+ Familiarity with tasks in Pharmacy workflows.
+ Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
+ Mastery of problem solving and decision-making skills.
+ Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.
**Education**
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $284,280.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
