Position Summary

At Wellpartner, a CVS Health entity, we are helping people on their path to better health.  We are seeking a skilled SQL Server Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to building robust, scalable database solutions that drive our business forward.

As a SQL Server Developer, you will maintain, improve, and develop complex database systems using Microsoft SQL Server. You will collaborate with the team to deliver high-performance data solutions, ensure data integrity, and support mission-critical applications. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for leveraging data to solve business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, improve, and develop SQL Server databases, including tables, stored procedures, triggers, and functions in a heavy data and workflow-centric environment.Implement data models, schemas, and indexing changes to support data and workflow requirements.Collaborate with others in translating requirements into effective database solutions.Adhere to industry Best Practices and Wellpartner Coding StandardsEnsure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).Stay current with emerging database technologies and contribute to process improvements.


Required Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience in SQL Server development.Established proficiency in T-SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.Experience with SQL Server 2019 or later.Familiarity with database design principles, normalization, and data modeling. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.


Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare industry experience.340B exposure.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with other database and related technologies.Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE: Data Management and Analytics).


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,310.00 - $173,040.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
