SQL Developer – VBC Data Architecture

Position Summary
This individual contributor position is responsible for in-depth development of business analytics solutions. This role includes working in collaboration with business stakeholders, other developers, engineers, and analysts to develop data driven solutions.  This is a position that involves gathering requirements, preparing project plans and documentation, combining data from multiple sources, creating new datasets to support downstream reports and analytics and managing customer expectations.

Required Qualifications

5-7 years of analytics experience with advanced SQL programming ability in a data warehouse or big data analytics environment (Stored procedures, SQL functions, CTE’s, nested queries, etc).Experience developing datasets, tables and views to support downstream reporting/analyticsWell-versed in data modeling concepts (dimensional/fact, cardinality, normalization, etc)Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilityStrong collaboration and communication skills within and across teamsExperience creating/maintaining SSRS reportsHealthcare industry experience



Preferred Qualifications

5-7  years of analytics experience with advanced SQL ProgrammingExperience managing and deploying code with GithubExperience conducting analysis and working with healthcare claims and services data



Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
