The position is based in India and will require the candidate to work as a SQL/BigData developer for Liquidity Management in Citigroup Ltd.This role will report to the Team lead in Pune.Candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.Candidate will work independently and should be highly self-motivated.Candidate will resolve any new vulnerability in timely manner in multiple application.Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain, robust, resilient, scalable, high-quality softwareImplements high load data solutions using various tools and technologies.Stay current and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, and vendorsDesign, maintain application Components, CI/ CD pipelines for OpenShift.Improve code coverage by using sonar.Knowledge/Technical Experience:
Strong Experience in SQL Server, ETL (SSIS), SSRS, Qlikview & TableauStrong Experience in Apache Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala, Yarn, Talend, HueSpark Calculators based on business logic/rulesUnderstanding of OOP and Functional design approach.7 to 8 years of strong experience in development, performance tuning, troubleshooting and deploymentBig Data Reporting, Querying and analysis3 to 5 years of Development experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesKnowledge of software architecture, design and testing.Familiar with standard SDLC and Agile processesAbility to produce professional, technically sound solutionsStrong writing, communication, time-management, decision-making, and basic task organization skillsExperience in system design based on given constraints and goalsKnowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins/Team city, LightSpeedKnowledge of version control tool such as GITQualifications:
