Job OverviewThe Enterprise Data Office (EDO) Wholesale Loans and Data Execution department is seeking an experienced Technical Product Development professional, focused on Business Analytics and Product Management. This person will work closely with the technology and front-to-back offices on multiple fronts to help execute strategic goals.
The EDO Wholesale Loans and Data Execution team has been established with the objective to provide an integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.
The function is responsible for extensive partnering across all relevant businesses within ICG and Independent Risk to drive key initiatives and associated deliverables for the data strategy and manage change with the right governance framework.
Identify areas for improvement by listening to front office users and their management teams; prototype solutions and develop business requirementsContinuously learn from and partner with business management and technology partners to identify opportunities to incrementally deliver business value through tactical toolsCreate prototypes for analytical tools that will later be productionized by EDO technologyPartner with internal organizations such as finance, risk, middle office and compliance to improve cross functional workflows, feeds and reportingCollaborate with technology counterparts to define requirements and ensure proper governance over applications development, testing and releasesFollows market, industry and client trends to own field and adapts them for application Citi’s products and solutions platformsDevelops plans, prioritizes, coordinates design and delivery of products or features to product release, and serves as product ambassador within user communityProvide user training, solicit feedback and drive systems adoptionRespond to ad-hoc data requests and provide reporting as neededMentors/Leads junior product developers on best technical and business practicesRequired Skills
A successful candidate will have 14+ years of experience with:
Writing efficient SQL queriesDeveloping/reviewing python scripts for data analysisCreating intuitive and useful DashboardsDesigning maintainable and structured ETL systemsCommunicating effectively with stakeholders of different backgroundsManaging and Delegating effectively work between junior product developers------------------------------------------------------
