A food manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to support daily operations within the QA Department. The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree and have prior experience in the food manufacturing industry. Preferred qualifications include certifications in PCQI, SQF, and HACCP, as well as a Pasteurization License. This role will also require regular use of the Genesis labeling program.
ResponsibilitiesConduct post-sanitation swabs and perform pre-operational inspections.Coach and support sanitation personnel.Verify chemical concentrations and ensure proper documentation.Perform testing on finished products and raw materials.Support SSOP training and development.Carry out routine quality checks throughout production.Participate in root cause analysis activities.Assist with internal auditing processes.Utilize Microsoft Office programs for reporting and documentation.Essential SkillsQuality assurance.Quality control.Data entry.Quality assurance testing.SQF.Biology.Chemistry.Document control.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree required.Experience in sanitation within the dairy or food industry is a plus.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes a 4-day work week from Monday to Thursday, with 1st shift hours from 6am to 4pm.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
