SPW Maintenance Training and Development Lead
The Maintenance trainer at our Stellantis Production Way Academy based in Saltillo, Coahuila, will be responsible for ensuring that the SPW standards and the domain fundamentals are taught and deployed to all levels of our organization within our Mexico manufacturing facilities.  The successful candidate will have proven experience and expertise specific to our SPW Maintenance methodologies. Additionally, this role will also teach sessions related to SPW Overviews, Leadership training and Quality/Continuous Improvement based process and tools.  This role willengage with all levels of the organization from the Plant Manager to the Team Leader to provide training and coaching but also provide direct feedback, validation and assessment scores.  Key responsibilities include collaborating with plant teams to assess training needs, developing and deploying relevant course materials, and ensuring adherence to training schedules. Trainer certification is preferred. Instructional methods will span classroom training, simulation-based activities, in-plant workshops, and coaching sessions. Ongoing in-plant follow-up is required to evaluate the implementation of methods and tools. The Trainer will also be responsible for the development and launch of online training courses. Demonstrated proficiency in these processes is essential for success in this role. Additionally, the Trainer will be accountable for training planning, as well as the tracking and reporting of key metrics to measure knowledge acquisition and improvements in KPIs and KAIs. Technical proficiency in SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint is required to maintain disciplined file management, update training materials, and manage tracking tools. Creativity is essential, as the Trainer will design and integrate innovative, interactive simulations into training content. A collaborative approach is critical, as this role will liaise with NA SPW Shop Directors, Maintenance CoC´s, Domain Leads, and the core SPWA training team to ensure alignment and excellence in training delivery

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree (Admin / Engineering) Master's degree (Desirable) English (Intermediate / Advance)  Minimum of 8 years' experience in operations management, in a high-volume manufacturing environment.  Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology and implementation or continuous improvement systems  Ability to work any shift and overtime as required  Ability to travel within Mexico and/or North America to support Region: US/CAN/MEX  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant as required  Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers  Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously  Demonstrated ability to coach / mentor / develop team members  Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead team  Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Advanced degree preferred  Previous experience working in a union environment  Production/Maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Other Requirements: Ability to work and communicate well with all types of people (shop floor to plant manager) to assist, coach and mentor projects for the proper transfer of knowledge in both English and Spanish. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment is a must. Strong presentation skills required. Must be energetic, motivated and self-directed.
