Job Description

The Spray Dry Operator is responsible for manufacturing flavors, specifically within the Dry-Blend goods department. This role involves assembling batches with a focus on food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy. The operator may handle machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks, ensuring the correct finished product quantity and labeling requirements are met.

ResponsibilitiesManufacture flavors in the form of powders, liquids, emulsions, and extracts.Follow formulations as outlined on each batch ticket.Operate machinery including mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks.Ensure attention to detail and accuracy in reading raw material labels.Adhere to safety procedures and food safety standards.Essential SkillsExperience in machine operation and batch mixing.Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExposure to food manufacturing or production is advantageous.Comfortable abiding by GMP standards.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a Food GMP environment with strong flavor aromas. Employees are required to wear steel toe shoes, hair nets, and uniforms provided by the company. Personal belongings can be stored in designated lockers. Shifts available are 2nd (2pm - 10pm) and 3rd (10pm - 6am).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
