Job Title: Spray Dry Operator

Job Description

The Spray Dry Operator is responsible for manufacturing flavors (powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts), specifically in the Dry-Blend goods department. The operator will follow processes according to formulations on each batch ticket, assembling batches with priorities on food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy. The role involves operating machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks. Attention to detail, the ability to read labels on raw materials, and adherence to safety procedures are essential. The operator must produce the correct finished product quantity with the correct label requirements.

ResponsibilitiesManufacture flavors including powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts.Follow processes according to batch ticket formulations.Assemble batches with a focus on food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy.Operate machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks.Ensure correct finished product quantity and label requirements.Maintain attention to detail and follow safety procedures.Essential SkillsExperience with machine operation and batch mixing.Comfortable working in a team environment.Ability to adhere to GMP standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsExposure to food manufacturing/production is ideal but not required.If you're interested in this position, please contact Melissa at (847) 580-2812. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
