I. Job Summary

Under direct supervision, assists the Equipment Operators with various tasks, ensuring a neat and safe work environment at the transfer station for all employees and customers, and enhancing the appearance of the site to the surrounding properties. 

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

Directs traffic at the working sitePerforms random load checks following all related safety policies and proceduresPerforms daily preventative maintenance on the water truck as requiredHauls water for dust controlMaintains site landscapingReports any worker-public safety factors and/or vehicle malfunctionsMaintains an awareness of activities and persons on or around the site and reports unusual activities to a supervisorFollows appropriate lifting and grasping proceduresApproaches all encounters with customers and general public in a friendly, service-oriented mannerAttends weekly/monthly safety/operations meetingsAttends training on work-related topics
