Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and manage third-party vehicle traffic within the yard, ensuring safe and efficient flow for all incoming and outgoing deliveries. This individual serves as the first point of contact for delivery drivers and plays a critical role in maintaining organized yard operations.
ResponsibilitiesDirect all third-party trucks entering the yard, verifying delivery details, and assigning appropriate staging or drop-off locations.Guide drivers promptly upon arrival to reduce delays and ensure adherence to yard protocols.Receive and verify incoming shipments, accurately document deliveries, and store goods in designated locations.Pick materials from work orders and deliver them to internal technical teams in a timely and organized manner.Support outbound logistics by picking, staging, and loading materials into trailers, maintaining inventory accuracy and shipment schedules.Essential SkillsExperience with construction materials, inventory, hand and power tools.Computer experience to track orders and shipments using construction and inventory systems.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift experience is a nice-to-have; the candidate will be trained and internally certified to operate one.Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment doing inventory.Experience working on a construction site or outdoors.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role involves working primarily in the yard and bays, which can be subject to varying weather conditions, either cold or hot. While some tasks may require collaboration, most work will be performed independently. Personal protective equipment is required, including steel-toed boots and typical construction attire such as long sleeve shirts. The position follows a day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
