TransPerfect Health is seeking an SLP who can work either two full days during the week or a few hours daily between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The position is located at Holbrook Decatur—an upscale retirement community offering assisted living, independent living, and memory care—at 1882 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033, in the North Druid Hills area.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policiesHelp optimize functional independence, and quality of life for members of the aging populationAccurately complete all required documentation in a timely mannerParticipate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service educationIn collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy programFollow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights GuidelinesDemonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient careSupport compliance with all state and federal regulationsPerform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demandsCarry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practiceGraduate of an accredited speech therapy programASHA accreditation or equivalent
