This role holds a wide range of responsibilities and can do a variety of tasks each day, including: • diagnosing and treating a variety of speech, language, cognitive communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders • objectively evaluating swallowing with MBSS or FEES and recommending appropriate diet modifications, compensatory strategies, and/or rehabilitation plans • training family members or caregivers, as well as other professionals • collaborating with other members of the care team To become a member of our caring and effective team you must: • have your master’s degree in Speech Pathology • clinical certification in Speech Pathology (or its equivalent) • NYS licensure • completion of clinical fellowship, and • BLS-CPR certification required by time of appointment In return for your dedication and commitment to provide outstanding care you’ll receive: • extensive onboarding, including opportunities for enhanced education with ASHA CEUs • base pay rate between $83,500 and $103,785 depending on your experience • generous Paid Time Off program that includes vacation, holidays, and sick days • choice of several outstanding health insurance benefits • several Well-being plans that include Adoption Assistance, Student Loan Relief Services, Tuition Reimbursement, and an Employee Assistance Program • wide choice of retirement savings plan Please apply today and help us to help the people of Central New York, and thank you!
