Heartland AEA is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for the 2026–27 school year. Heartland AEA supports 57 public school districts, 44 accredited nonpublic schools, and 2 charter schools across central Iowa. This full-time position working a 192-day contract would be based out of our Carroll office serving South Central Calhoun school district. What You’ll Do + Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support students’ communication needs. + Conduct speech-language assessments that are relevant to the presenting concern and meaningful within educational and home contexts. + Plan, implement, and monitor evidence-based interventions using a variety of service delivery models. + Support the generalization of communication skills across settings through collaboration and consultation.
