Responsibilities + Sort, rack, and register specimens accurately. + Label and store specimens efficiently. + Conduct data entry with precision. + Perform miscellaneous tasks as delegated by leadership. + Ensure proper accession of frozen samples. Essential Skills + High School diploma required. + Proficiency in computer usage and data entry. + Attention to detail is crucial. + Strong typing skills are a must. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in specimen collection and registration. + Ability to work on the third shift. Work Environment The work environment is designed to promote both safety and productivity. Employees are required to adhere to a dress code that ensures safety: nails should not protrude through latex gloves to maintain PPE effectiveness; tee shirts with non-offensive or non-controversial writing are permitted but must be covered by a lab coat while in the lab; long pants without tears and no exposed ankles are required; sweatpants are not permitted, and yoga pants or leggings may soon be banned.
