This position is responsible for supporting company leadership in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, reducing environmental risk, and supporting sustainable operational practices across the system. This role resides within the Environmental Compliance organization and partners closely with Airport Operations, Tech Ops, Safety, and Corporate teams.
**What you'll do**

• Proactively identify environmental compliance risks and gaps in new and existing systems, procedures, and processes.
• Support initiatives ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Assist in developing and implementing environmental compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regulatory research and monitor emerging environmental requirements.
• Support environmental audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking.
• Develop project plans and manage initiatives through implementation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure sustainable environmental programs.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to drive compliance improvements.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation.
• Support investigations related to environmental incidents.
• Travel up to 15% of the time.
**All you'll need for success**
**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years experience of environmental compliance concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
• Experience in environmental compliance or regulatory programs.
• Familiarity with EPA and state environmental regulations.
• Experience supporting audits and inspections.
• Experience with frontline or unionized teams.
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
+ Presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex requirements to large audiences who possess a wide variety of subject matter expertise.
+ Ability to follow through and complete projects as individual contributor or collaborate as a team member with effective drive for results.
+ Ability to prioritize and multi-task workload.
+ Experience in working with vendors and industry organizations.
+ Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization.
+ Work independently with multiple work groups within and outside of the company.
+ Strong organizational skills required with the ability to manage numerous projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills needed to effectively inform and persuade.
+ Critical thinker with a growth mindset, who is organized, self-motivated and has a natural ability to prioritize requests from stakeholders.
+ Independent judgement and decision-making capabilities are essential.
