Specialist - Insurance Operations

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Senior Operations Specialist — Fiduciary at Marsh. This role will be based in the Seoul.

This is a senior, high-responsibility individual contributor role that will manage and drive fiduciary operational functions, perform assigned billing operations and credit control activities, support the Fiduciary team leader on operational and regional initiatives, and coach junior team members. The role combines hands-on operational ownership, project and process improvement responsibilities, and stakeholder engagement, without formal people-management responsibilities.

What we will count on you to:

· Manage fiduciary operational activities, with direct responsibility to perform assigned billing operations, invoicing, credit control and collections tasks end-to-end.

· Support the Fiduciary team leader in overseeing day-to-day operations, translating strategy into practical execution and serving as a reliable operational escalation point.

· Analyze existing processes and controls to identify inefficiencies and propose, pilot, and implement improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy and compliance.

· Produce, maintain and enhance financial and operational reporting and dashboards (billing, aging, collection performance, SLA/KPI tracking); prepare ad-hoc analysis and presentations with clear recommended actions for management and regional stakeholders.

· Drive and support global/regional projects and local delivery of initiatives; coordinate with regional teams and brokers to ensure alignment and consistent execution across geographies.

· Provide guidance, practical coaching and on-the-job mentoring to junior colleagues to raise standards of quality, consistency and productivity.

· Maintain a working understanding of relevant insurance and fiduciary legislation, regulatory expectations and internal controls; identify, escalate and help remediate conduct, compliance or risk issues.

· Support system optimization and maintenance efforts (Workday, billing/AR platforms, reporting tools), and help identify automation or tooling opportunities to reduce manual effort.

· Own and prioritize personal workload to meet individual SLAs, KPIs and quality targets; act as a dependable backup for core fiduciary activities when required.

What you need to have:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher.

· 8+ years’ relevant experience in operations, billing/collections, finance or insurance operations, ideally within insurance or financial services and including hands-on billing/AR experience.

· Demonstrable experience performing billing operations and applying collection strategies and credit control practices.

· Strong analytical skills with proven ability to create clear reports and present actionable insights to stakeholders.

· Fluent business English (verbal and written) — frequent interaction with regional teams requires confidence in leading English-language discussions and correspondence.

· Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

· Strong interpersonal skills with experience coaching or mentoring junior staff (formal people management not required).

What makes you stand out:

· Experience with Workday, ERP or billing/AR systems.

· Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau or SQL).

· Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent).

· Knowledge of local and regional insurance regulation or fiduciary requirements.

· Operationally focused: takes ownership of delivery and ensures high-quality outcomes.

· Collaborative: builds effective relationships across functions and geographies.

· Practical problem solver turns analysis into pragmatic solutions and measurable improvements.

· Coach mindset enjoys developing junior talent and raising team capability.

· We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
