**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing algorithms, setting up data pipelines, and ensuring the effective assessment of customer impacts during core outages. This role involves handling large data volumes, integrating with databases, and setting up monitoring systems to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Data Pipeline Setup:**
+ Establish and manage end-to-end data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources.
+ Ensure the data pipeline includes proper monitoring to maintain data quality and reliability.
+ **Algorithm Implementation:**
+ Implement customer impact assessment algorithms based on predefined specifications.
+ Optimize code to handle large datasets and ensure timely execution of tasks.
+ **Database Integration:**
+ Automate the ingestion of output data into relevant databases.
+ Ensure seamless integration and timely updates to databases following core outages.
+ **Monitoring and Alerts:**
+ Set up real-time monitoring for data feeds and establish automatic alert systems for any issues detected.
+ **Visualization and Reporting:**
+ Develop dashboards to visualize data feed health and assessment results at both aggregated and individual levels.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ Experience in setting up and managing data pipelines.
+ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or equivalent.
+ Experience with database integration and automation.
+ Ability to handle large datasets efficiently.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
+ Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Advanced degree in a related field.
+ Experience with real-time monitoring and alerting systems.
+ Familiarity with data visualization tools and dashboard creation.
+ Background in telecommunications or related industries.
