Specialist – Interior Designer

The Candidate:

We are searching for a talented interior designer looking to climb to the next stage of their career in corporate/workplace interior design. You should have at least 5+ years experience in corporate Interior design and space planning. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and a creative and dynamic flair. In return you will have the opportunity to thrive in a fast paced high pressured but fun working environment. You will have the chance to work on some of the most creative interior projects in Bangkok and also regionally alongside other leading designers. As well as working collaboratively as part of a team you will also enjoy an autonomous working environment. As an energetic and ambitious designer looking to further their career in the world of corporate workplace design with an award winning company, you will adopt a hands on approach, both be responsive and proactive and have a gift and passion for creative design.

Duties & responsibilities of Senior Interior Designer

Creative Designers on various high profile creative Workplace Design projects.

Strong Space planning, design concepts, documentation, detailing and presentation experience.

Participate in selection of Interior Finishes, furniture systems and design collaboration with services consultants.

Through professional leadership, assisting in raising the standard of knowledge of staff engaged on the project.

Develop projects with international design standards for delivery of high quality spaces.

Mentoring & Managing a Team of Interior Designers / Jr. Interior Designers.

 Qualifications/Experience 

Technical ability is important but it’s nothing without passion! It's your passion that will set you head and shoulders above the rest and will drive you towards success in your career with PDM (we hold this in high regard!)

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.

5+ years of experience as an interior designer, with a focus on commercial/workplace interior projects for at least 2 years, either consultancy or preferably design and build.

Strong knowledge of the design process, including space planning, FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials.

Outstanding graphic presentation skills.

·        Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, EnScape Render engine and Adobe Creative Suite. Good understanding of Autodesk Revit will be an added advantage.

Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development.

Ability to work well in a multi-cultural, multi lingual team environment.

Understand and execute design ideas as instructed by seniors and produce Designs quickly and accurately.
