Clinic Informatics Specialists (CIS) have several key responsibilities, these include:

Clinical documentation:

Clearly and accurately documenting visits for partnering provider

Ordering lab work, diagnostic tests, initiating referrals, and requesting medical records as directed by partnering provider 

Completing notes within 24 hours of each patient encounter

Completing assigned Care Reqs (coding corrections, order/referral-related tasks, and other tasks regarding notes and clinical documentation)

Gap identification and HCC prompting:

Preparing for and participating actively in daily huddles 

Preparing for and participating in WRV Reviews 

Documenting and collaborating in weekly care team huddles

As clinical documentation experts, collaborating with Central Pop Health team to roll out care model innovations

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
