You execute the regulatory affairs strategy for your respective NA Ventures categories and geographical area using your technical and regulatory knowledge. You ensure our policies, regulatory programs and requirements of our portfolio are carried out.

How you will contribute

You will deliver on the NA Venture regulatory affairs strategy and compliance agenda and work with cross-functional stakeholders to assess regulatory business risks and opportunities. You will provide regulatory affairs expertise for technical regulatory developments and help in responses to challenges and crisis management. In this role, you will ensure that ingredients, product composition, claims and labelling compliance are within applicable regulations and company policies. In addition, you will provide guidance to stakeholders on developments in regulatory affairs, support regulatory impact assessments and change management, help develop regulatory affairs tools, and further develop your knowledge of regulatory, science and nutrition risks and opportunities in your market.

More about this role:

Ensures North American regulatory compliance of multiple ingredient types, as well as adherence to the Mondelez International policies and guidelinesCreates compliance guides to further grow the capability of our team and to support ingredient and product workDevelops tools and databases to improve efficiency of current processesSupport claims substantiation at ingredient level (e.g. NAFNAC)Participates in and support aspects of regulatory compliance and marketing initiativesActs as a technical resource to support training and onboarding of entry level members of the SARA community Reviews/approves label graphics and advertising for regulatory compliance and technical accuracy Provides nutrition and regulatory guidance on project teams to enable accurate decision-making Collaborates with and supports business partners to ensure product labeling and advertising are competitive and contribute to competitive marketing of products Experience with Health Canada & FDA food regulations, specifications, and labeling databasesKnowledge of SAP PLM, Genesis, Foods Connected a plus.

Education/Certifications

Bachelor of Science; Nutrition or Food Science preferredMinimum 3 years of experience working in Regulatory Affairs
