What this job involves
Leading on-site operations for a Commercial Property in Bangalore
At JLL, we put focus on our clients’ needs, and we want you to do the same. You will take charge of EHS programmes that we have for clients’ properties. Be it site operations, contract, procurement, financial, or team management, you’ll ensure our service delivery is at its best. You’ll also be our clients’ eye on all operational matters. In this role, you will promote seamless and competitive operations by collaborating with the top management and site team for both client and JLL. You will drive a spirit of collaboration to ensure that the account-based team runs to maximum efficiency, allowing us to achieve our client’s ambitions.
More importantly, you will support various client-specific programmes such as technology launches, trainings, and user experience initiatives. Being at the heart of operations management, you’ll also oversee all key performance indicators in the region and make sure that the team is meeting our clients’ requirements. Among your other mandates, include system integrity audits, reports, presentations, and overall portfolio management

In this role, you will lead a team fire and safety experts—while creating a working environment that promotes collaboration, performance, and personal growth. Key Responsibilities
Fire Pump Room Responsibly:-
Insure that all pumps in working condition/Auto mode Ensure Pressure gauges are working Checking of Gong bell Check diesel pump engine oil condition/level Check diesel engine battery condition Ensure all valves of pump room should be in open condition Ensure diesel tank level should be 80% above Ensure daily checklist has to be signed by shift fire officer Ensure all First Aid and Fire Fighting Equipments are serviceable 24/7 Ensure fire water tank level Beacon light should be in working condition of pumps- check to Ensure all the pumps should be leakage free
Smoke Ventilation System/Pressurization System Responsibly:-
Ensure all fresh air fans in auto mode Ensure all smoke exhaust fans in auto mode Ensure all pressurization fans are in auto mode Ensure all Normal Exhaust fans are in auto mode
Common Responsibly:-
Conduct Evacuation drill of Building
Emergency response plan for clients in case of any emergency
Ensure Smooth Operation of Traffic
Check Guards duties and posts
Penalties for wrong parking and smoking, work with without safety & Deposition of money
Handling of parking issues
Training/ briefing of Guards on Fire safety and security
Inspecting hot work area
Checking of PPE at the site
Issue Different Types of permits
Checking and inspection with safety standards of fit out area
Equipment maintenance of fire and security
To check All indicator bulbs
To check Mat in front of electrical panel
To check Drain condition
Appropriate signage’s (no smoking, floor singes, panic bar, floor layout, exit signage).
Lift lobby clear ( all fire exits clear from any obstacles )
To break hammer in place for FHC
Documentation check and maintenance of all equipments and systems
Checking of terrace area and staircase
Checking of all emergency exits in the building
Conducting Evacuation drill of clients on a quarterly basis
Attending HSE- Meetings and addressing HSE issues
Participating in all near miss, incident and accident investigations
Participating in emergency exercises
Requesting that all incidents are investigated promptly and take appropriate steps for preventing recurrence
Attend safety community meetings
Ensure so observation completion on time
Spread safety procedures & safety awareness across down team
ALL fire line valves in open condition (hydrant line and sprinkler line) to be checked
To be observant towards any unsafe act & prevent the same, Bring the same to the notice of management as required and follow engineering guidelines and Safety management system

Do you have at least 8 years’ experience in handling EHS in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related field, managing multiple sites /locations simultaneously
If so, we would be more than happy to work with you. At JLL, we’ll let you fully demonstrate your expertise in property management, planning and organisational skills, and knack for addressing complex EHS issues daily.
You’ll face a wide range of clients and senior-level officers, so superior oral and written communication skills are essential. You’ll also have proven track record of managing and resolving conflicts between client and firm requirements.
You’ll demonstrate a proactive and professional approach to customer service and stakeholder engagement. Day-to-Day and Routine Activities:· Assist in implementing and reviewing EHS policies, ensuring adherence to QMS, EMS, OHSMS, and other standards.
· Participate in the regular review and updating of policies to incorporate evolving EHS requirements.
· Support routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with EHS standards and regulations.
· Participate in tracking and analyzing EHS metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
· Assist in conducting risk assessments across operational areas, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.
· Support the implementation of measures to minimize identified risks and hazards.
· Aid in the development, review, and updating of emergency response plans, participating in drills and simulations.
· Support preparedness for various emergencies and assist in coordinating responses as needed.
· Participate in EHS training sessions for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
· Assist in the development of training materials aligned with EHS policies and procedures.
· Support investigations into accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, contributing to corrective actions.
· Assist in preparing detailed incident reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting protocols.
· Aid in overseeing waste management practices, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
· Participate in promoting and implementing environment-friendly materials and practices.
· Assist in organizing health surveillance programs, contributing to monitoring employee health and maintaining health records.
· Contribute to the development and execution of wellbeing initiatives promoting physical and mental health among employees.
· Participate in routine safety observations and inspections, documenting findings and suggestions for improvements.
· Support safety meetings, discussions, and disseminate safety-related information to foster awareness.
· Assist in planning and executing safety campaigns and awareness programs focused on EHS aspects.
· Engage employees through various communication channels to raise awareness of safety practices.
· Support the maintenance and availability of first aid kits, fire safety equipment, and emergency response tools.
· Participate in fire drills, fire safety checks, and provide assistance in emergency response procedures.
· Aid in scheduling and overseeing testing, inspection, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
· Assist in monitoring operational processes, identifying areas for improvement in safety measures.
· Stay updated on EHS-related laws and regulations, assisting in ensuring organizational compliance.
· Support in liaising with regulatory bodies and external agencies on EHS matters as needed.
· Assist in addressing EHS-related grievances, contributing to investigations and implementing corrective actions.
· Participate in maintaining records of grievance resolution and follow-up on improvement actions.
· Participate in engaging internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and support EHS initiatives.
· Assist in communicating EHS achievements, challenges, and improvement plans to stakeholders.
· Contribute to identifying opportunities for improving EHS practices, aiding in the implementation of improvement projects.
· Support and encourage employee suggestions for enhancing EHS initiatives.
· Assist in ensuring alignment with integrated management systems (QMS, EMS, OHSMS, etc.) in day-to-day EHS activities.
· Participate in periodic reviews and updates to maintain system compliance.
· Support in developing and maintaining business continuity plans for EHS-related risks and emergencies.
· Participate in risk assessments and assist in measures to ensure business continuity.
· Aid in monitoring and managing EHS-related assets, ensuring proper maintenance and functionality.
· Participate in implementing procedures for the safe operation and use of EHS equipment.
· Support in promoting and maintaining 5S principles for workplace organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety protocols.
· Assist in regular 5S audits and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications
You will have a Degree / Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/ EHS/ Safety with min 8 years of working experience in Facility Industry /Real Estate/ Hotel or Construction Industry.
