Summary:

UST is looking for Spark Developer

 

The Opportunity:

Develop, test, and maintain data processing pipelines using Apache Spark Work with large-scale datasets to perform data transformation and analysis Implement Spark jobs using Spark SQL, DataFrames, and RDDs Write and maintain basic Java code to support data processing tasks Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements Optimize Spark jobs for performance and scalability Debug and resolve issues in Spark applications Follow coding standards and best practices

 

 

What you need:

Required Skills:

Very good knowledge of Apache Spark Basic programming knowledge in Java Understanding of big data concepts and distributed computing Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN) is a plus Basic knowledge of SQL Good problem-solving and analytical skills

 

Desired Skills:

Exposure to real-time or batch data processing Familiarity with Linux and version control tools (Git) Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
