Well-Being Navigator Job Description – Anaheim, CA (on-site )

The Well-Being Navigator will build trust and rapport with employees and leaders at their dedicated worksite to help facilitate culture change in all areas of well-being. This client-facing role will be onsite full-time with the ability to travel to any of the client's properties at their request. The navigator will serve as a wellness benefit concierge, providing referrals and education that support both emotional and physical well-being. The navigator is committed to addressing the employee’s barriers to care including social determinants of health by helping the employees navigate and schedule all healthcare appointments or connect to community resources to meet their needs. The navigator will exhibit competency in providing culturally sensitive care to a diverse group of employees. In addition, they will provide support for large health-related onsite events and deliver culturally competent health and wellness group presentations to build a culture of health and influence employees to lead healthy lifestyles.

Qualifications

Spanish BilingualBachelor’s degree in health education, health promotion, or health related fieldMinimum of 2 years’ experience in workplace healthUnderstanding and sensitivity to multi-cultural communitiesHighly sociable and comfortable initiating conversations and presenting to groupsNatural ability to connect with peopleWork independently with little supervisionStrong team player and capable of accomplishing program goalsAbility to maintain confidentialityHigh degree of patience and commitment to team cultureWork Schedule – 40 hours/week – Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 7 pm PST.Willing to be flexible in work schedule (occasional weekends and supporting 3rd shift employees quarterly).

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

Proactive and responsive to employee needs in a friendly and professional mannerProvide referrals and social support to appropriate well-being resources, programs, and health care servicesConnect to local services and community resources to address specific needsEngaging thoughtfully to help individuals that don’t know they need care or exactly what care they needFollow-up with employees on referrals to ensure individual needs have been metComplete required record keeping for tracking results and provide feedback on program goals and objectives in a timely mannerSchedule onsite Employee Assistance Program (EAP) appointmentsHelp download apps and register for programs as part of employer benefits

Wellness initiative campaigns communication

Staff monthly onsite events to promote the Cast Care Center as well as the Well-Being Navigator rolePresent on various health and wellness topics as requested by clientSupport client’s annual enrollment via webinars and in-person support as requestedNimble and flexible nature required to engage the evolving needs of the population


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 67,100 - 111,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
