**Description** SAIC is seeking a Spacecraft Operations, Maintenance, and Test Engineer to join our Roxborough Park, CO based team. The position provides direct support to the local government customer on spacecraft satellite integration, test, on-orbit test, operations & maintenance (O&M), and on-orbit anomaly resolution. · Monitor baseline integration and test planning and execution by attending prime contractor daily status and planning meetings and observing operation activities. · Evaluate contractor plans/schedules for both contract baseline spacecraft/ground activities and changes proposed to the baseline. Provide recommendations to the customer on the technical, cost, and schedule scope of the proposed plans and schedules. · Serve as customer representative to real-time operational activities by participating on the support team for anomaly response. · Serve on the anomaly team attending status meetings, coordinating solutions to technical issues, plan and conduct rehearsals, and support of recovery activities. · Serve on-call to resolve spacecraft anomalies, minimize loss of operations time, and safely return the spacecraft to operations. · Evaluate pros, cons, and risks of alternative courses of action across all spacecraft subsystems and provide clear explanations to the customer who may have limited experience. · Advise the customer on contract actions to include requirements development, Statement of Work generation, proposal evaluation, BOE validity, and award fee recommendations. · Provide infrequent second shift or weekend support to baseline deliveries, operations or rehearsal activities. · Occasional travel in the US about 3-5 times a year for about 3 days per trip. **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience** · Engineering/science degree or significant applicable experience with satellite or satellite operations. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in spacecraft operations and maintenance or ground baseline development, recapitalization and procurement. · Flexible self-starter with good communication skills · Excellent computer skills · Current or recent TS/SCI with polygraph **Desired Skills:** · Cyber Security experience · Program safety and contact operations experience Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000.
