Serving as the primary technical advisor to the program managerAssisting senior program leadership on shaping customer acquisition strategyLeveraging NG capabilities and technologies to meet customer goals and objectivesCoordinating internal responses to cross-segment issues and providing high level briefings on major decision points to senior leadership ensuring that all engineering teams adhere to sound engineering processes, in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality standardsPlanning and managing technical reviewsWorking with the lead systems engineer to ensure that givers/receivers, GFx and other roadblocks are quickly identified and counteredLeading / supporting on-ramp of new system capabilities through studies or ECPsManaging the integration of multiple, complex payloads onto an existing platformMentoring, training, and directing junior staff

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scopeBS Degree in Engineering or related technical field and at least 12 years of applicable experience, or an MS Degree and 10 years of applicable experienceExperience with space mission development / architecture, as well as spacecraft design and developmentExperience working medium size or larger Government programsExperience leading a team of engineersProposal ExperienceExperience in the Space Security DomainPreferred Qualifications:
