Citizens has recently transformed the sourcing experience to the business. As a Marketing & Customer Collateral, Sourcing Team Manager, you will be responsible to lead a team of sourcing professionals that drive and implement tailored sourcing strategies with Business Stakeholders. This team will also execute sourcing events to deliver commercial benefits and mitigate risk, resulting in market aligned contracts.
In addition to leading the team, the successful candidate will partner and execute with Business Line Executives to understand strategic plans, identify market and economic trend opportunities and continually improve the value derived from third party relationships. All Sourcing Professionals will have access to key spend data, forward looking market intelligence and a fully integrated source to pay process, enabling you to drive shorter cycle times, increased savings opportunities, and a strong strategic partnership with business line executives. The Sourcing Team Manager will report to the Sr. Sourcing Team Lead within Procurement.
Primary responsibilities include
Lead team of professionals in the execution of sourcing projects that deliver commercial benefits, comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements and have sound business principles; challenge the status quo related to negotiation strategies to generate positive outcomes.Analyze sourcing and contract negotiation strategies to challenge and provide guidance to team members to maximize financial benefits to the Bank.Become a strategic advisor to the Lines of Business by building and maintaining strong relationships with the business line and shared services management teams.Oversee the creation of commodity strategies that compliment bank and business line specific strategies to meet company goals and objectives.Ensure that all sourcing projects and contracts meet the minimum requirements of the standard process with all appropriate evidence completed.Utilize risk-based approach, ensure that third party vendor contracts mitigate risk for the enterprise; continuously monitor sourcing processes for opportunities to increase efficiencies and decrease risk.Provide leadership to direct reports to develop talent through engagement and observation; engage team members to identify learning forums (seminars, training, etc.) to strengthen skills and expand knowledge base.Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Required QualificationsExperience in Marketing Sourcing &/or Marketing Agency ManagementKnowledge/experience with Ariba and other commonly used Procurement applicationsExperience in team management and developmentStrong analytical ability Preferred QualificationsExperience leveraging Marketing agency forums (like ANA, 4A's)Extensive experience across key Indirect CategoriesFinancial Services industry experienceHours & Work Schedule
