Sourcing Specialist NPI
Job Description **This position is for work in an on-site format, in Contagem – MG.** **Who will you be working with?** You will be joining the NPI Sourcing team. **How will you make a difference?** The Sourcing NPI Specialist is responsible for managing the buying process for all NPI (New Product Introduction) parts of assigned commodities. Apply sourcing policies and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams. This role requires basic knowledge of sourcing processes and a willingness to learn concepts, methods, and procedures to enable sourcing execution while following standard work **What do we want to know about you?** + Bachelor’s degree in progress or recently completed in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields. + Eexperience in sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain preferred. + Intermediate English (Advanced is a plus). **Desired Characteristics** + Strong communication skills (oral and written). + Good organizational and prioritization abilities. + Willingness to learn technical drawings and specifications. + Proactive and team-oriented mindset. + Basic knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle experience is a plus). + Interest in developing negotiation skills. **What will your typical day look like?** + Direct RFQ activities to ensure timely supplier quotations + Research and evaluate suppliers based on capabilities, price, quality, and delivery performance + Analyze purchasing requisitions and take actions as necessary + PPAP execution; monitor and expedite supplier qualification process steps with appropriate functions as necessary. + Part handoffs – complete standard work weekly to hand off parts that meet requirements to the production fulfillment team + Place and follow-up on POs (Purchase Order) + Manage relationships with suppliers including On Time Delivery and Material availability + Balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive Material Availability and other key business metrics. + Contribute to projects as team member within the Fulfillment/SQE organization + Work closely with P&L’s in the region to support the demand.
