This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes

How you will contribute

You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting “make or buy” analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

How will you contribute:

Sourcing Strategy & Execution 

Develop, deploy, and manage sourcing strategies for raw material (Flavors, Starch&Glucose, Gelatin, Citrates, Hydrocolloids, Acids, Chemicals, Phosphate, Colors, polyols, Gum Base, etc.). 

Lead supplier negotiations, contracting processes, and ensure cost-effective agreements aligned with business needs. 

Implement and develop new materials/supliers according to RFx results in alignment with multifunctional teams. 

Supplier Management & Performance 

Monitor supplier service levels and drive continuous improvement through KPIs and performance reviews. 

Investigate root causes of service gaps and implement corrective actions in collaboration with stakeholders. 

Cross-functional Collaboration 

Act as the main procurement interface for R&D, Operations, Planning and finance teams. 

Partner with local and regional teams to ensure alignment with regional/global procurement strategies. 

Compliance & Risk Management 

Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to company procurement policies, safety standards, and legal/compliance frameworks. 

To store and document all the process. 

Support health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives across sourced services. 

Value Creation & Productivity 

Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives while improving service quality and sustainability. 

Procurement Governance & Reporting 

Provide visibility and timely reporting of sourcing activities, supplier issues, and improvement plans. 

Participate actively in regional sourcing forums and cross-functional innovation/collaboration platforms. 

Capability Development & Succession 

Foster a safe work culture and support talent development within the sourcing area. 

Contribute to the development and succession planning of key procurement roles.

​What you´ll need for sucess

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field. 

+5yrs of experience in Procurement, preferably in direct (Raw&Commodities) sourcing. 

Experience with CLM tools, eProcurement Platforms (e.g.; SAP, Ariba, Coupa) Power BI 

Excellent Stakeholder Mgmt, Analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities 

Fluent in English (written and spoken) mandatory, Portuguese is a strong plus 

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP/Ariba or similar platforms is a plus
