Position Purpose Statement
The Sourcing Manager supports the development of Spend Area practices for assigned Spend Areas, including sourcing strategy creation, execution, stakeholder management and contract management to maximize the total value of ownership for the organization. This person works closely with the China sales stakeholder, Global and Region Spend Area teams to develop and execute E commerce sourcing strategy, support other China sales & trade project execution and Global premium strategies, facilitate best practice sharing and drive advantaged cost, quality, service, and compliance to the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage Global Premiums strategy development, planning, alignment and execution
Analyze spend data, understand the business needs and provide insights to maximize opportunities under consultation of leadership. Develop sourcing strategy with implications on the region (e.g. productivity, cash, revenue). Strategy communication and alignment with global, regional and local cross functional teams. Lead project team to prepare and plan for any of the global l bids, and co-lead regional negotiation, contracts sign off, commercial implementation, supplier performance review and innovation workshops. Actively engage in global key initiatives (aggregate demand, construct bid packages, and support sourcing through suppliers around the region) especially negotiations to ensure value levers are effectively played.Manage complicated escalations relevant to service level adhering to principle of strategy compliance and relationship management.2. Support BU DCom Spend service supplier sourcing initiatives
Analyze spend data, understand the business needs and gain insights to maximize opportunities under consultation of leadership Support business stakeholder in sales, finance (or marketing) to prepare and plan for any of the local bids, supplier selection, co-lead negotiation, contracts sign off and support commercial implementation. oint performance review with key stakeholder, suppliers and identify optimization or innovation opportunity to drive business ROI. Strictly follow Global buying policy to manage process and ensure all documentations compliant and traceable. Support audit needs from time to time. Ensure contract, eSAF approvals are valid and meeting all compliance requirements at AMEA and BU level. Support contract process and Coupa creation for approved suppliers spend. Support IA queries related to dCom spend and work process upon internal alignment.Sharing BU best practice on regional/global level to enhance procurement capability.3. Execute Sales &Trade Spend Area local spot buys (when needed) Conduct sourcing project of purely local items and large spot buys, unplanned ad hoc demands to keep control over high spend utilizing deep sourcing or Spend Area expertise i.e sampling, POSM warehouse logistic & sampling etc.
4. Cross functional collaboration through sourcing and daily operation
Work in close collaboration with local Procurement Representatives in order to ensure local acceptance. Collaborate and align strategy with global, regional, and local Procurement teams ensuring strategic supplier implementation.Embed digitalization tools i.e E auction into sourcing tactic supported by buyer central team. Provide guidance to TSM for tail spend management. Well manage other tools such as CLM, supplier management etc. Lead BU level communications with China dCom business stakeholders including E-Com, O2O, AFH, Import, eB2B etc.Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Language Requirements :
1. Appropriate University Bachelor’s Degree
2. Strategic Sourcing and Negotiation – 7 Steps Sourcing Process
3. Project Management and Communication
4. Relationship Management
5. Analytical and Problem Solving
6. Minimum 7-year of experience in Procurement Sourcing Function
7. Experience in Consumer Packaged Good Compan
8. Familiar to China Ecommerce/Dcommerce is preferred
9. Fluent spoken / written English
