Sourcing Analyst
Seeking an Entry-Level Sourcing Analyst in the Des Moines Area!! Job Description The Sourcing Analyst will develop and interpret spend analytics, manage company-wide programs and vendor maintenance, and create and run formal RFPs. This position requires ongoing collaboration with various business groups and leaders to identify strategic sourcing needs and opportunities. Responsibilities + Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and sourcing strategies. + Conduct market research to support supplier selection and competitive bidding. + Support RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ) processes including documentation, evaluation, and recommendations. + Evaluate supplier performance using key metrics such as quality, delivery, and cost. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Legal. + Maintain and update supplier databases and sourcing tools. + Perform financial analysis of credit card and invoice spend on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. + Ensure policy compliance by reviewing cardholder statements and receipts. + Conduct compliance audits and problem-solving activities for the company’s contingent workers. + Assist the operations team in managing company shared programs. + Conduct invoice and spend data mining. + Manage sourcing databases and internal project records. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Procurement and Strategic sourcing. + Strong data analysis skills. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. + Understanding of supply chain processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred. + Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field such as Procurement, Operations, or Finance. + Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and collaborate with team members. + Capability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and tasks. + Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Proficient in computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days working from home. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
