And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Position Summary** Operate tractor-trailer to deliver merchandise from distribution center to stores in a timely manner and return merchandise/empty totes from stores to the distribution center for proper handling. To transport product from the Distribution Center to the retail stores or move trailers in and out of doors as needed. **Required Qualifications** Experience: Three (3) years over-the-road driving experience as well as city driving experience required. + Current CDL (Commercial Driver’s License). + Safe commercial driving record within the last three (3) years. + Ability to pass all Department of Transportation physicals and Substance Abuse Testing. + Certification of Department of Transportation road test. + Meet all Department of Transportation requirements concerning driver qualifications. + Demonstrated general experience in the use of basic hand tools. **Preferred Qualifications** + Operate tractor-trailer in accordance with State and Federal regulations. + Comply with all applicable D.O.T. regulations regarding the operation and maintenance of tractor-trailers. + Load/unload merchandise at stores and vendor locations. + Slot and transport trailers within the confines of the CDC compound as requested by the Production Supervisors. + Complete pre-and post trip safety inspections, record/report any defects or malfunctions. + Complete and submit all necessary logs and paperwork on a daily basis. + Frequent overtime required, particularly during high volume periods, to ensure that all stores are serviced according to daily schedule. + Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor. 6. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: + Maintain vehicle in a clean and safe environment. + Assist in warehouse operations as needed. **Education** High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $16.00 - $26.21 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
