Solutions Engineer (Network&Data center)
Role & Responsibilities

Customer-focused technical sales professional who provides technical information, design/implementation guidance for networking technology to the customer.

SE takes an architectural perspective to demonstrate how Cisco products and solutions can solve the customer’s business problems and sustains relationships with the customer aligned to their understanding of the customer's business goals.

Refine and research customer challenges in technical context and technical requirements of the opportunityCreate solution options and articulate the benefits of a Cisco solutionPrepare proposal materials and make customer presentationConduct demonstration or PoC, leveraging resources such as demo labs, including presentation and documentation of test resultsCustomer technical Q and A handlingCollaboration with other functions such as BU, CX or othersResearch of potential competitive offerings for the proposed solution

Minimum QualificationsMore than 7 years of pre-sales experience as a solutions engineer for network products and solutionsExpertise of Data Center Network (VXLAN/EVPN/RoCE,etc)Knowledge and Experience of POC, solution demonstration and Network verificationFluency in Japanese reading, writing and communicationLeadership and proactive attitude to lead a team and a projectGo-for-it spirit and attitude for new challenges

Desired SkillsPre-sales experience for Service Provider CustomerKnowledge of AI data center infrastructureKnowledge of virtualization and container infrastructure (Docker/K8s,etc)Knowledge of Network Programmability and Automation (Python, Ansible etc.)Practical understanding of Cisco solutions and productsBusiness Level English communicationExpertise of Generic Routing and Switching (CCIE level)

営業部門と協力しながら、サービス部門・技術サポート部門・本社開発部門との協業を推進し、技術面からビジネスに貢献します。

業務内容

アカウントSEとして担当するお客様と信頼関係を構築し、シスコの幅広い製品・サービスを活用しながらお客様の課題を解決するための技術的な営業活動を行います。 

お客様の課題や技術要件の整理最適なシスコソリューションの検討と提案活動提案資料の作成およびプレゼンテーションの実施実機デモや PoC の実施と報告技術的な問い合わせ対応商談に関して国内他部門や海外開発部門等との協業競合他社との差別化提案

必須となる経験とスキルネットワーク関連機器(特にルータ、スイッチ)の5年以上のプリセールスの業務経験Data Center Network (VXLAN/EVPN/ACI/RoCE,etc)に関する知識と経験POC, 実機デモや検証作業の知識と経験日本語での高いコミュニケーション能力チームやプロジェクトを率いるリーダーシップ能力お客様のためにプロアクティブな活動ができる方新しい事へのチャレンジ精神

望ましい経験とスキルサービスプロバイダーのお客様担当としてのプリセールスの経験AI Data Center Infrastructureに関する知識と経験仮想化・コンテナ基盤(Docker/K8s,etc)に関する知識と経験Network ProgrammabilityとAutomation (Python,Ansible,etc)に関する知識と経験Ciscoソリューションと製品に関して実践的な知識を保有している方英語によるビジネスレベルのコミュニケーション能力シスコ技術者認定(エキスパートレベル(CCIE))
