The Security Solutions Engineer is part of an elite technical team responsible for driving the success of our security solutions and leading our Go-to-Market (GTM) activities for SSE.
Your Impact
As a critical member of our technical sales organization, you will lead the way in how we bring security solutions to market. Your work ensures that our technical sales teams are equipped to succeed in cross-architecture solutions. By designing and running high-impact security workshops, you will help customers visualize how Cisco Security products transform and improve their business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Create and deliver programs and processes to scale the SSE, Identity and ZTA business from a technical perspective.Act as the primary go-to resource for technical sales teams regarding product inquiries and customer issues.Develop detailed, scalable approaches for customer engagement, including workshops and webinars.Work directly with Product Management and Development teams to provide customer feedback and define technical product requirements for continuous improvement.Collaborate with internal engineering teams to scope and resolve sophisticated technical issues for high-visibility account opportunities.Assist in the creation and delivery of technical training modules for the broader team.Maintain a "startup mentality" to drive market adoption and manage projects to meet deadlines based on high-level objectives.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related equivalent field.7+ years of technical experience in a support or sales engineering role specifically within the Security domain.Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in user-friendly language.Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work responsibly with or without direct supervision.Preferred Qualifications
