**Overview**
We are looking to add a Solutions Architect to a high-impact SAP Commerce Cloud delivery team. The Solutions Architect will serve as the team’s technical leader, responsible for defining architecture, establishing internal development processes, implementing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and bringing source control fully in‑house. This role provides hands‑on technical guidance, collaborates closely with internal customers, and ensures high‑quality, scalable solutions.
You will work within the Customer Experience Applications group in Corporate IT and report to the Manager of E‑Commerce.

**Key Responsibilities**
**Architecture & Technical Leadership**
+ Define and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing architecture for SAP Commerce Cloud implementations.
+ Own architectural decision‑making for the team, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and modern engineering best practices.
+ Serve as the technical mentor and day‑to‑day oversight for development team consisting of two internal developers and future outsourced development pod.
+ Lead code reviews, define coding standards, and enforce internal development processes.
**DevOps, CI/CD & Source Control Ownership**
+ Lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of DevOps practices.
+ Bring source‑control repositories fully in‑house and maintain branching, tagging, and release standards.
+ Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting SAP Commerce Cloud deployments.
+ Implement automated testing and quality‑gate checks where feasible.
**SAP Commerce Cloud Development & Integration**
+ Guide and support development of SAP Commerce Cloud extensions and customizations.
+ Provide expert knowledge on Java/Spring and front-end frameworks used within SAP Commerce Cloud.
+ Design and oversee integrations with ERP, CRM, payment providers, and other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns.
+ Ensure platform scalability, stability, and performance through proactive monitoring and tuning.
**Process & Delivery Oversight**
+ Establish internal development processes, documentation standards, and operating procedures for the team.
+ Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and estimation activities in an Agile environment.
+ Work directly with internal business stakeholders to clarify requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery.
**Security & Compliance**
+ Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and industry best practices (e.g., OWASP).
+ Oversee secure coding practices and system hardening activities.
**Other**
+ Support production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and high‑severity incident resolution.
+ Perform additional related duties as assigned.
+ Travel <10%.
**Qualifications**
**Required**
+ 5+ years in software architecture or senior engineering leadership roles.
+ 5+ years working with a range of programming languages and platforms, including Java & Spring, Oracle PL/SQL, Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Apache Solr, Tomcat/Apache, RESTful services, GitLab, and Jenkins.
+ Experience implementing DevOps practices and building CI/CD pipelines.
+ Strong understanding of enterprise deployments, code management, and secure development.
+ Hands-on SAP Commerce Cloud experience strongly preferred.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must be able to work independently and with remote teams.
+ Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
**Preferred**
+ Experience integrating with ERP, CRM, OMS, and payment systems.
+ Knowledge of microservices, API management, and event‑driven architecture.
+ Experience with Agile methodologies.
+ Familiarity with JD Edwards data structures.
+ Experience in manufacturing industry environments.

**Total Rewards**
The compensation range for this position is $127,200.00 - $190,800.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
